Job details
You'll be focused in
• Collaborating and manage different stakeholders, such as IT security, different management levels, AWS Service Team, providers and customers
• Working closely with the development team, your CSA Peers and bridge the gap to the MAN Senior Management and stakeholders;
• Setting and aligning the main Focus for the Team with your CSA Peers and the MAN Management;
• Aligning with the Engineering Manager and Agile Enabler to increase the overall team maturity
• Leading, together with peers, the Product Management and Service Management of both Platform and Business Service - AWS Platform and CI/CD Platform (Gitlab, SonarQube);
• Driving the standards and guidelines for these platforms;
• Evangelizing and consult internally project and product teams;
• Taking care about the big picture of how the Platforms are integrated with the overall MAN Truck & Bus landscape; manage the development of a long-term vision
• Ensuring a smooth and continuous development experience for the dev team (prevent obstacles); you balance and funnel the distraction from the operational needs of the Platforms;
• Managing incoming demands, meaning to register, clarify and prioritize them, which sometimes will also mean to challenge clearness of expectations
• Aligning and work together on new challenges with your peers and the dev team;
In order to succeed you'll need
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience
• Proven experience working as a Cloud Solution Architect or related role
• Product Management Skills such as backlog organization, requirements management;
• Strong communication skills around consulting and managing requirements , negotiation and ability to say “no”.
• Strong presentation skills, e.g. in order to share knowledge and adapt way of presenting to the audience (lean and focused for management vs. technically deep for tech experts)
• Experience with cloud services (especially AWS) and with cloud paradigms and serverless architecture (IaaS, PaaS, microservice architectures, continuous delivery);
• Knowledge in software development (e.g., Python, Bash, Javascript/Typescript);
• Knowledge with Infrastructure-as-a-Code concepts like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation or AWS CDK;
• Experience in using CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, SonarQube);
• High quality and security awareness, fun at solving challenging problems and ability for the understanding of complex relationships;
• Great English skills, both written and spoken
Nice to Have:
• Understanding Service Management Processes (ITIL);
